The Hürtgenwald Historical Society, a volunteer-led organization dedicated to the history of Hurtgen Forest, hosted a book signing with Andrew Biggo, a US Marine veteran and author of The Rifle, and four US military veterans, including Jacob (Jake) Ruser, a retired combat medic assigned to 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, March 27th, 2023. Ruser met, laughed and talked with people from all over the world as he signed helmets, books and other WWII items. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Clara Harty)
