The U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) North and West Africa Response Force (NARF) prepares to conduct on-and-off drills aboard a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Mar. 19, 2023. With a focus on Africa, SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command with a joint task force headquarters capability and the NARF, poised to respond to any contingency to protect U.S. persons, facilities and interests.
