230318-N-NT811-0013 Pacific Ocean - (March 18, 2023) – An SH-60R helicopter from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron Seventy-Eight (HSM 78) piloted by Lt. Cody Moffitt and Lt. Dave Colville takes off from the guided missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) while she ship is underway for surface warfare advanced tactical training (SWATT). SWATT is the Navy’s premier advanced tactical training even for the surface fleet to ensure units are competent, proficient and ready to deploy forward.
