Members of a joint service honor guard team assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) lay a flag over a casket during a repatriation ceremony, Da Nang, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, April 10, 2023. The ceremony marked the culmination of the efforts of two recovery teams and one investigative team to recover service members unaccounted for during the Vietnam War. During the ceremony, the honor guard team will escort the remains for transport to the DPAA Laboratory at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. Once there, the scientific analysis process will begin.
