Completed in 1950, the 120 feet tall silos at Magnolia at the Silos, served as storage for the Brazos Valley Cotton Company. Despite an F5 tornado causing irreparable damage to the downtown area in 1953, the silos still serve as a prominent Waco landmark and were one of the most interesting aspects of my visit April 1, 2023.
