Gunnery Sgt. Allan Anderson, the Camp Leatherneck provost sergeant, from Lewiston, Maine, runs in the five-kilometer Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Nov. 4. The Susan G. Komen foundation was established during 1982 in an effort to end breast cancer throughout the world. Throughout its 30 years, the foundation has invested nearly $2 billion to fulfilling that promise.
