Mount Foraker, North America's 6th tallest mountain at 17,400 feet, serves as the backdrop for the National Park Service’s mountaineering base camp on Kahiltna Glacier in Denali National Park. A decades-long partnership between the Park Service and Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment, provides heavy-lift and additional search and rescue capability for the Park Service and high-altitude training for the unit.
