Competitors carry a 35-pound ruck sack during the 12-mile ruck march event at the 2023 Region IV Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center in Newton Falls, Ohio, May 7, 2023. The Region IV BWC consisted of seven U.S. Army National Guard Units from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin, as well as Ohio National Guard state partners, Hungary and Serbia.
