18th Wing members listen to opening remarks during the 2nd Annual Mental Health Awareness Walk at Kadena Air Base, Japan, May 7, 2023. The mental health awareness walk was started by the 18th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron last year after a squadron member committed suicide. The goal of the event was to bring in mental health organizations across Okinawa and educate military members and their families on the resources available to them.
