On April 3, 2023, NASA announced the crew for Artemis II, the first non-test flight of the Orion Space Capsule, currently scheduled for 2025. The mission’s pilot is slated to be Victor Glover, who witnessed multiple developmental tests of the craft’s Capsule Parachute Assembly System (CPAS) at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground.
