Navy Counselor Senior Chief Alterik Greene, chief recruiter for Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio, entertains the crowd and hands out fiesta medals during Fiesta San Antonio 2023. The streets were alive with music, lights, and excitement as the colorful floats, bands and performers entertained the estimated 750,000+ viewers. Leading the way was NTAG San Antonio’s float, a replica of the USS San Antonio (LPD 17), while students and staff members from Naval Technical Training Center (NTTC) Lackland and Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) marched along the 2.6-mile route. NTAG San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
