Cory Bloemendaal, a Sioux Center, Iowa, native and infantryman assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 168th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Iowa Army National Guard, carries an M3A1 Carl Gustaf Multi-roll, Anti-armor, Anti-personnel Weapon System (MAWWS) at Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center in Wyoming on May 16, 2023. The Council Bluffs, Iowa, based unit completed a two-week annual training period at Camp Guernsey. Soldiers completed individual and collective tasks at the squad level, to include practicing moving as teams, firing a variety of weapons and conducting air assault movements.
