Brown (right) as the newly appointed State Command Chief Master Sgt. during an Assumption of Responsibility ceremony held at the North Carolina Air National Guard (NCANG) Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, June 3, 2023. CMSgt Brown has served 30 years of military service, all of which have been with the NCANG. In his new role as N.C. State Command Chief, CMSgt Brown will be responsible for influencing the health, welfare, and morale for more than 1,200 enlisted Airmen and their families.
