U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Morgan Alexander, a career counselor assigned to 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, poses for a photograph on Fort Riley, Kansas, May 23, 2023.

“So my first duty station was Fort Hood and that’s where I became an NCO,” said Alexander. “When I moved to Fort Carson one of my old Soldiers had gotten promoted to sergeant as well and messaged me and was thanking me for the help that I gave him. That is probably one of my favorite memories.”
