Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay leadership is presented The Presidential Migratory Bird Federal Stewardship Award, June 8, 2023, at the Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C. The team created an Endangered Species Matrix to help emergency responders protect endangered species, like marine mammals, turtles and migratory birds, for prompt identification of threatened species and to develop best management practices to protect the species and their habitats.
