Col. Troy V. Alexander, U.S. Army NATO commander, passes the Allied Forces North Battalion guidon to Lt. Col. Joseph H. Johnson III during a ceremony June 9 at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in Caste, Belgium. Lt. Col. Bonnie S. Kovatch transferred the battalion to Johnson after a two-year command.
