“To me, fatherhood is a journey. Pair that with the military and it is a unique adventure. Mine started before I was born when my father, Budd, married my mother, Donna, while he was serving in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. Their example has guided me through life. Many years later I had the honor of marrying Teresa while serving in the U.S. Navy. As a Military Father, I took advantage of every opportunity life and career gave me. While still on active duty I enjoyed a father-daughter dance with my daughter, Emily. Even after I retired, I put on my uniform to participate in JROTC and grade school Veteran’s Day ceremonies with Emily and my son, Tyler. This journey has been an e-ticket ride and continues today.”
