On June 14, America celebrated the birthday of one of the most distinguished military forces in the world, the U.S. Army. In 1775, the Continental Congress established the Army to fight for our country’s independence from Britain, and the Joint Munitions Command honors and commemorates the Army’s history, the brave men and women who filled its ranks, and our own progression along this historic timeline.
