U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Vince Margiotta relinquished his duties as commanding officer of Recruiting Station Salt Lake City to Maj. Kyle King at a change of command ceremony on Camp Williams, Lehi, Utah, June 15, 2023. Maj. Margiotta honorably served his second three-year tour on recruiting duty at RS Salt Lake City. As commanding officer, he led the RS through mission success for the entirety of his time. For such actions, Maj. Margiotta was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal by Col. Warren D. Cook, commanding officer, 8th Marine Corps District, Marine Corps Recruiting Command. Before taking over as the new RS Salt Lake City commanding officer, Maj.
