    Jason Boyed, the Fitboss assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6), describes the terms and rules of a push up competition aboard the USS America, in the Pacific Ocean, June 18, 2023. The push up competition was conducted to boost morale and build comradery between U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to USS America. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
