U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Kurt Suitor, a rotary wing aviator warrant officer assigned to the 1109th Theater Aviation Support Maintenance Group, Connecticut Army National Guard, is promoted to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Five by his wife Charlotte during a promotion ceremony at the 1109th Theater Aviation Support Maintenance Group, Groton, Connecticut, April 21, 2023. In addition to piloting rotary wing aircraft, Suitor is also rated to pilot the Army’s fixed wing C-12 Huron aircraft. Currently, Suitor serves as a full-time maintenance test pilot for the TASMG.
