A tanker ship stranded on shore by Hurricane Sandy is having the fuel and oil pumped out to prevent a spill. The U.S. Coast Guard is monitoring the operation. FEMA is working with various partners including federal, state, local and tribal governments, voluntary faith-based and community –based organizations, along with the private sector, to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
