HM Dental Hygienist NEC (or L35A) is a program offered through the Navy Medical Operational Training Command (NMOTC). The Corpsman enrolled specialize in caring for the dental healthcare of Sailors and Marines of the wider Fleet. Corpsmen who complete the course will gain dental hygiene skills and working knowledge of the surgical procedures and interventions needed to correct and care for dental injuries, conditions, and maladies.
