DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (June 9, 2023) Members of the U.S. Marine Corps Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 364, Italian Armed Forces, and Japanese Self-Defense Forces, removed debris, fixed desks, and delivered playground equipment in support of the U.S. Army 450th Civil Affairs Battalion project at a primary school in Damerjog, Djibouti, June 8. The 450th Civil Affairs Battalion has provided other support to the school in the past from environmental clean-ups, new desktops, a swing-set, and seesaws. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
