In the first four days of Operation Fox Hunting, almost 50 improvised explosive devices were cleared including this house-born IED that was rigged to exploded when a door was opened. A Soldier from Battery A, 2nd Battalion, 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division from Fort Lewis, Wash., spotted the trigger on the outside of the door before it could do damage to the four Soldiers clearing the house, Feb. 29, in Abu Khamis, Iraq.
