NAS PATUXENT RIVER (July 6, 2023) - Firefighter Brice Trossbach's casket is escorted by a Naval District Washington firefighting apparatus as his funeral procession makes its way through base July 6, 2023. Trossbach died in the line of duty while battling a house fire, June 27. Nearly 3,000 friends, family, and firefighters from across the states of Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania attended the funeral to pay their respect.
