Crewmembers aboard the Cutter JAMES RANKIN unhook a buoy from chains of the cutter's crane. The cutter is homeported at the Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay, Md. Its crew was engaged in the process of exchanging summer buoys for seasonal winter buoys in the Chesapeake Bay area.
