U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) (MEU(SOC)), conduct a director’s physical training during Corporals’ Course hosted aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), Atlantic Ocean, July 15, 2023. The 26th MEU(SOC) is running Corporals’ Course concurrently onboard all three ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) which also includes the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) and the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50). These courses will ensure Marines and Sailors across the ARG 26th MEU(SOC) receive required Professional Military Education during the scheduled deployment. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
