A U.S. Navy helicopter takes off from Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, N.Y., to transport Coast Guardsmen assigned to the Coast Guard Pacific Tactical Law Enforcement Team to the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Antonio (LPD 17) Nov. 5, 2012. The PACTACLET was working with the Navy to expedite security checks aboard high interest commercial vessels entering the ports of New York and New Jersey in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Hurricane Sandy formed in the Western Caribbean Sea and affected Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti and the Bahamas before making landfall in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
