ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (July 31, 2023) - Visiting Adm. Christopher Grady observes damage to base facilities sustained during Typhoon Mawar during a tour of the region at the end of July.
Grady serves as a Vice Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and is the nation's second-highest ranking military officer. The admiral's visit to the Indo-Pacific region is designed to showcase military readiness, logistical requirements, and capabilities. Grady visited Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Joint Region Marianas Headquarters, Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz, and US Naval Base Guam during his time on island.
