Airman Samantha Reed, 721st Aerial Port Squadron, and Tech. Sgt. Gabriel Clark, 87th Aerial Port Squadron, attach forward and aft chains from cargo pallets to the frame of a 60K loader to ensure the pallets do not shift while the 60K is in motion. While 60K loaders do feature built-in pallet locks, the configuration of these pallet trains, holding explosive cargo, required additional restraint prior to movement.
