230801-N-JC343-1008 (Aug 1, 2023) PORT HUENEME, Calif. – K-9 handlers assigned to Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), work with Justin Melnick from the hit CBS PARAMOUNT+ TV Series, SEAL, center, and his canine Dita the Hair Missile Dog to demonstrate military working dog training during National Night Out, Aug. 1, 2023, in Port Hueneme. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island.
