U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Tereasha S. Peasant, graduates as the honor graduate for platoon 3049, Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, Aug. 11, 2023. Peasant earned this distinction over 13 weeks of training by outperforming other recruits in her platoon during a series of training events designed to test their basic Marine Corps skills.
