US Service members from Arizona National guard; Montana National Guard; New Mexico Air Guard; and Illinois and Wisconsin Army Reserves aided local emergency responders in a mass incident training in Fort Belknap reservation; on August 16; 2023. Service members acted as if they were reacting to being pepper sprayed to allow for both police and emergency services react to a large crowd and mass care. Airmen 1st Class Shawnte Salazar acted as an anaphylactic shock patient to further the training and provide responders with ability to see how to react with multiple levels to triage.
