U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 272 and U.S. Navy Sailors with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11 level concrete during airfield damage repair operations at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, Aug. 12, 2023. MWSS-272 took part in Large Scale Exercise 2023, a globally integrated exercise designed to refine the synchronization of maritime operations across multiple fleets in support of the joint force. The training was based on a progression of scenarios that will assess and refine modern warfare concepts.
