Kershaw, a Galveston, Texas, native and storage chief with Ammunition Company, 2nd Supply Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, hauls a 155 mm artillery projectile during the unit’s emergency demolition training at a range aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Dec. 4, 2012. The Marines arranged 17 separate caches of obsolete ammunition, which they detonated using high explosives, as part of their annual emergency demolition training.
