Balfour Beatty Communities has started a development project at Fort Hamilton to improve housing quality. During the first week of August, two homes in Officers Row were demolished to be replaced with three new ones overlooking the bay. Ground break for the new homes is expected to occur in September of 2023, with the homes expected to be completed in phases starting sometime in late 2024 and ending in 2025.
