Maj. Andrew Cooper, 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron commander, asks a question after Col. Johnny Galbert, 90th Missile Wing commander, shared the local Air Force Global Strike Command Missile Community Cancer Study results with 90 MW commanders during a meeting on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, Aug. 21, 2023. All air samples were non-detectable for polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB). Of the 300 surface swipe samples across all 15 missile alert facilities, 17 found detectable levels of PCBs, all below the threshold set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for mitigation.
