U.S. Army Reserve soldiers assigned to the 336th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade conducted an M4 qualification at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, on August 23, 2023. Soldiers utilizing an M4 must meet minimum standards to qualify with their weapon for Army readiness requirements. There are a total of 40 targets, and soldiers will engage them from multiple positions, including standing and transitioning to an unsupported prone position.
