A U.S. Air Force Tunner 60K Aircraft Cargo Loader is loaded onto a truck in preparation for transport back to the Missouri at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, Aug. 25, 2023. These assets must return to the U.S. sustainment facility in order to be serviced and rebuilt into new and improved vehicles that can be distributed to AMC terminals around the globe. This joint effort to ship two K-Loaders from the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing via ground and sea ultimately saves the U.S. Air Force over $340,000 in shipping costs, and ensures we may continue to use the assets in the future to bring global mobility and air power to the fight.
