Indiana National Guard Brig. Gen. Justin Mann and families celebrate the promotion of Hoosier
Guardsmen to second lieutenant in the Indiana Army National Guard at the Indiana War Memorial,
Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023. During their officer training, the soldiers learned the values of integrity and
ethical leadership and how to empower agile and adaptive leaders. “To summarize it all in a sentence
you can take with you when you leave, let’s all be the kind of leaders we would want to have,” said
Mann in his remarks to the newest leaders of the Indiana National Guard.
