Mr. James French, vice president of operations, E.L. Hollingsworth and Co., accepts the annual Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award, the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their outstanding support of employees serving in the Guard and Reserve, during a ceremony Aug. 30 at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. E.L. Hollingsworth and Co. was one of 15 employers selected from 1,863 nominations received this year to receive the prestigious award. Nominated by Army National Guard 2nd Lt. Derek Byrd, E.L. Hollingsworth & Co. is a Native American owned and operated transportation and logistics management company offering truckload services, ground expedite, third-party logistics services, complete third-party logistics management partnerships and warehousing, assembly, and foreign-trade zones.
