PELELIU Palau, (August 8, 2023) - Rear Adm. Gregory Huffman visits Marines
from 7th Engineering Support Battallion (ESB) stationed on Peleliu. Huffman learned more about the operational capabilities in the area and reminded the Marines of the strategic importance of their work on the island.
Huffman conducted the familiarization tour of the region at the beginning of August. As the senior military official of the region, Huffman serves as the commander of Joint Region Marianas, U.S. Naval Forces Marianas, and is the Defense Representative to Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Republic of Palau, and Federated States of Micronesia.
