PELELIU Palau, (August 8, 2023) - Rear Adm. Gregory Huffman visits the Marines
from 7th Engineering Support Battalion (ESB) stationed on Peleliu during a familiarization tour of the region. Huffman addressed the Marines during formation and reminded them of the strategic importance of their work on the island.
Huffman conducted the familiarization tour of the region at the beginning of August. As the senior military official of the region, Huffman serves as the commander of Joint Region Marianas, U.S. Naval Forces Marianas, and is the Defense Representative to Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Republic of Palau, and Federated States of Micronesia.
