U.S. Special Operations Forces in Peru recently conducted high-altitude sniper and maching gun training with their Peruvian counterparts, Fuerza Especial Conjunta in Jauja, located in the central part of the country 12,500 ft. above-sea level. The training was both demanding and beneficial due to unique ballistic challenges that occur at such a high altitude.
