The Honorable Emiliano Jose Salcines, Jr., a retired judge and oral historian, recounts the life of U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Baldomero Lopez at Centro Asturiano Cemetery in Tampa, Florida, Sept. 15, 2023. Marines assigned to U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Central Command held a memorial service for Lopez who earned the Medal of Honor for his valor during the Korean War.
