The U.S. Navy begins construction on a new dry dock at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) Aug. 19, 2023. The construction of the dry dock, currently the Navy’s largest facilities construction project in history, will be the first new dry dock at Pearl Harbor since World War II.
