SrA Leroy Torres has demonstrated a willingness to take on more than is asked of him throughout his Air Force career. He stepped up to fill roles that were left open due to Airmen PCS and deployments. As crew leader, Torres performs OJT with Airmen and walks them through Air Force policies and procedures to ensure they are ready for anything. Torres has demonstrated a true commitment to leadership which not only helps Airmen across his wing but reduces the workload for the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, allowing him to focus on managing other priorities. He has volunteered to train the Force Support Squadron on erecting Small Shelter Systems to take some of the load off the Ops flight as his squadron moves into new ACE and MCA exercises.
