U.S. Army Paratroopers assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division walk outside in preparation for their jump at the Intermediate Staging Base during Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Rotation 23-10, near Fort Johnson, L.A., Sept. 24, 2023. The jump was conducted to put Paratroopers in defensive positions during JRTC rotation 23-10. More than 4,000 2nd BCT Paratroopers will participate in the rotation, validating their preparedness for potential upcoming missions.
