Alexander Crawford Jr., Charlie Company, 11th Machine Gun Battalion, at Soldier’s Circle at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny, New Jersey, Sept. 14, 2023. Cemetery caretakers from the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs are replacing 70 deteriorated markers and leveling and straightening the headstones at Soldier’s Circle. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
